Exilis

Exilis™ is a major technological advance in body skin tightening and contouring. Unlike any other product on the market, it is able to reduce the circumference of areas on the body with unwanted fat, along with stimulating collagen to improve the skin. A noninvasive, FDA-approved radiofrequency (RF) device, it uses varying depths of heat to target collagen cells and fat.

How Exilis Works

The Exilis device sends RF energy to the skin in a safe and steady way that goes beneath the surface and hits deeper tissues. This stimulates the fat cells to ramp up metabolic activity, generate new collagen and as a result, patient has a tighter shape with smoother and firmer skin. Circumference is reduced and cellulite diminishes. Results vary for each patient.

Number of Treatments Required

While each patient is unique, people generally start seeing some results from Exilis after about two or three visits—and great results after four treatments. Most patients plan for packages of four to six treatments for the best results. Each treatment takes 30 to 45 minutes and can be scheduled about two weeks apart.

Noninvasive Treatment

As a noninvasive, in-office treatment, Exilis brings few, if any, risks. Any discomfort usually subsides as the area heals. While the procedure is not surgery, comparatively it is a much safer procedure than surgery, which carries significant risks.
