What is Juvéderm® XC?
Juvéderm® XC is an injectable gel made from hyaluronic acid (HA). As you age the production of HA reduces resulting in facial wrinkles and folds. Juvéderm XC® is the first smooth consistency HA gel. Juvéderm® XC could last up to a year, and is even more comfortable than the original Juvéderm® formulation. Many fillers have a granular consistency beneath the skin, but the unique Hylacross manufacturing procedure ensures that Juvéderm® XC is smooth and gentle.

What can Juvéderm® XC do for me?
Juvéderm® XC can instantly and naturally smooth out wrinkles and folds on your face by adding volume to facial tissue under your skin. Juvéderm® XC injectable gel temporarily restores a smoother appearance to the face. You can get rid of the parenthesis or smile lines on your face.

What are the possible side effects of JUVÉDERM® XC injectable gel?
The most common side effects include, but are not limited to, temporary injections site reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps and bruising. As with all skin injection procedures there is a risk of infection. Most side effects are mild or moderate in nature, and their duration is short lasting.

What is the difference between BOTOX® and Juvéderm® XC?
BOTOX® is injected into the muscle to relax it and in turn that smoothes out the wrinkles between your eyebrows, your forehead, and crows feet. Juvéderm® XC is injected under the skin to add volume and restore a more youthful appearance improving you smile lines.

How comfortable will I be during the procedure?
Injections can cause some discomfort during and after the procedure. For your comfort we apply an anesthetic cream on the area to be treated.
