Julie McCardell, FNP

Julie McCardell, Family Nurse Practitioner, has been with Coastal Dermatology since 2003. She earned her Masters Degree in Nursing from UCLA. During her Nurse Practitioner training, she earned academic recognition and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Julie is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is licensed by the Board of Registered Nurses and is an active member in the Dermatology Nurses Association.

As a Nurse Practitioner she has received special training in Dermatology. Julie is licensed and qualified to perform a comprehensive dermatological examination, diagnose, treat and prescribe appropriate medical therapy for your diagnostic needs.
She is skilled in performing procedures that include shave biopsies, punch biopsies, cryotherapy, as well as various cosmetic procedures including Botox, Dysport™, Juvederm, laser hair removal, Active FX and the Intense Pulse Light (IPL) laser.
