Juana Martinez, MSPA, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a passion for dermatology and a genuine commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care. She believes that great patient care begins with listening and building trust. Juana takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, answer their questions, and create an environment where they feel comfortable and involved in their care.
Juana has always enjoyed the personal side of medicine: getting to know her patients, hearing their concerns, and helping them feel more comfortable throughout their care. Her experience in dermatology has allowed her to care for a variety of skin conditions and perform a range of procedures. She also has experience in urgent care, which helped broaden her clinical experience and exposed her to many different types of patients and medical concerns.
Being born in Oaxaca, Mexico, and growing up in an immigrant family has had a big influence on who Juana is today. She was raised to value hard work, perseverance, and, most importantly, helping others. She carries those values with her into her work and strives to make every patient feel welcomed and cared for.
When she is not working, Juana enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, trying new foods and restaurants, watching movies and TV shows, and spending time with her family and her cat.
